The German Association for Occupational Pensions (aba) was founded in 1938 and is headquartered in Berlin. It is Germany’s leading professional association for occupational pensions, representing around 1,000 members. These include companies of all sizes, pension providers, associations, and service providers such as consultancies, law firms, tax advisors, and banks. The aba is committed to promoting and further developing occupational pensions in Germany and provides its members with a platform for exchange, information, and advocacy with policymakers and public authorities.

Since 2025, the aba has been using tixxt to connect its members, foster knowledge exchange, and develop joint positions on pension-related issues.
