The Union of German Master-Builders, Architects and Engineers (BdB) represents the interests of these professional groups with around 8,000 members, making it the largest association of its kind in Germany. At the heart of the BdB’s work are integrated, digital, and climate-friendly approaches to planning and construction.

The BdB’s goals include promoting the concept of collaborative building teams, fostering cooperation among architects, civil engineers, and contractors in the planning, preparation, and execution of construction projects. It also advocates for climate-conscious construction, active participation in shaping the policies of architects’ and engineers’ chambers, and addressing further issues relevant to these professions.
