Bitkom
Founded in 1999, Bitkom represents more than 2,200 companies in the digital economy, including over 1,900 direct members. Its membership is highly diverse, ranging from SMEs and start-ups to DAX40 corporations, and includes both national and international players. Together, these companies generate 190 billion euros annually from IT and telecommunications services, of which 50 billion euros come from exports.
Bitkom’s mission is to establish Germany as a global leader in the digital economy. To achieve this, the association and its members drive digital transformation, work to strengthen digital sovereignty, and promote broad social participation in digital progress.
Since 2017, tixxt has been accompanying Bitkom and its members in their daily activities.
