Dörken

Ewald Dörken AG was founded in 1892 and is a family-owned company with a long history and tradition. Since its founding, the company’s headquarters have been located in Herdecke and make a significant contribution to the local industry there. Dörken is a chemical company that focuses on construction composite membranes, micro-layer corrosion protection systems, architectural paints and paste systems. Innovation, research and sustainability are at the core of its activities.

Today, Dörken operates globally, with around 1,000 employees, and generated approximately 400 million euros in gross revenue in 2021. The company is therefore a prime example of a medium-sized enterprise.
