ENX

European Network Exchange Association

The ENX (European Network Exchange Association) is a pan-European body that unites automobile manufacturers, suppliers, and four national automotive associations. Founded in 2000, ENX was established to ensure secure and trustworthy collaboration within industrial value networks. It serves as a neutral governance and escalation authority and as a driver of continuous user-oriented development.

ENX places particular emphasis on topics such as Industry 4.0 and digitalization, especially in the context of connected vehicles. Because the automotive industry—both manufacturers and suppliers—relies heavily on digital communication channels, there is strong demand for secure digital infrastructure. ENX meets this demand by providing companies with a trusted network for collaboration.

Since 2020, ENX has been using tixxt to support cross-border coordination among its members.
