FTTH Council Europe

Founded in 2004 and based in Brussels, the FTTH Council Europe is the leading European association for fiber-optic internet solutions. It represents more than 150 member companies from the telecommunications sector, including network operators, manufacturers, investors, and service providers. The association is dedicated to driving the widespread deployment of FTTH/B (Fibre to the Home/Building) across Europe and, by September 2023, had connected 244 million households in 39 European countries to fiber.

Since 2025, the FTTH Council Europe has relied on tixxt to connect its member companies and their employees across national borders.
