VCI

German Chemical Industry Association

With around 2,300 member companies, more than 90 percent of the revenue of the chemical and pharmaceutical industry in Germany is represented by the German Chemical Industry Association (VCI). With 22 trade associations covering all product areas of the sector and eight regional associations, the VCI is one of the three largest industry associations in Germany. The VCI represents the economic and political interests of German chemical and pharmaceutical companies, as well as German subsidiaries of international corporations, to key stakeholders including policymakers, public authorities, other industries, academia, and the media.

Since 2018, the VCI has been using tixxt with the goal of creating a central space for collaboration and file management for both honorary and full-time members, while making project and committee work more transparent and efficient.

Collaboration within many project teams has become more intensive. From the perspective of colleagues there, the integration of our offices in Berlin and Brussels into communication with headquarters in Frankfurt has improved significantly. They feel more strongly and more quickly included in the flow of information. Exchange within the committees is also steadily increasing.
