VDGH

The VDGH was founded in 1977 in Frankfurt as the “Association of Diagnostics and Diagnostic Device Manufacturers” and was later renamed “German Diagnostics Association”. Today, more than 100 companies that manufacture or distribute diagnostics and life science research (LSR) products are members of the association. The diagnostics industry usually operates in highly regulated markets. The benefits of laboratory diagnostics, including potential savings for the overall healthcare system, as well as the economic potential of the sector, are often overlooked. VDGH therefore advocates for a comprehensive economic, technological and health policy strategy.
