ZIA

The German Property Federation (ZIA) was founded in Berlin in 2006 with the support of 14 companies. At that time, there was hardly any dedicated representation for capital market oriented real estate companies. In particular, commercial property companies were not adequately represented. One year after its founding, the federation joined the Federation of German Industries (BDI) and has maintained an office in Brussels since 2007. Since its inception, ZIA has seen steady growth in membership. Today, through its members, including more than 33 associations, ZIA represents around 37,000 companies from across the real estate industry.

Since 2022, ZIA has been using tixxt as a member portal. This enables members to access information and collaborate in committees, working groups and other forums at any time and from any location.
